Artificial ponds

Wide panel Lineflex jeoMembranes are used for the areas such as irrigation ponds, liquid waste storage and settlement tanks, water reservoirs, decorative garden pools. geoMembranes are produced as single piece, about 1000m². it is recommended to use geomembrane with a thickness of 1,5 mm for the big sized ponds and 1 mm and 1,2 mm for small sized decorative pools.

Application method

The wide membrane panels, prepared according to the projects, are laid side by side such that the sides are 4 cm . If the ground prevents the automatic welding machine from moving straight, hard and flat material like thin chipboard must be laid under the places where welding will be made. The sides are thermic welded with hot air. The application directives must be followed during thermic welding. There must be no sharp stone, iron stone etc. which may damage the membrane on the ground.

The ground of the pond may only be earth excavation as well as concrete, reinforced concrete or adobe. After ground leveling is made, 250 kg/m2 geotextile is laid on the ground prepared. Then, the application is completed by laying Lineflex geomembrane on it.
