EPDM membrane is laid before pouring concrete inside the channel for HES channels and irrigation channels not leaking water. If concrete was poured beforehand in the channel, since the flow rate will decrease because of water leakage arisen from dilatations or settlement cracks, water impermeability is ensured by laying EPDM membrane on the concrete.
